Job description

A bold and fast-moving communications agency is looking for a talented Senior Production Manager to join their NYC team! This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, creative, and solutions-driven producer who knows how to take big ideas and turn them into unforgettable real-world experiences.

This agency sits at the intersection of culture, creativity, communications, and brand experiences, working with exciting names across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, and consumer industries. Their close-knit team thrives on collaboration, fresh thinking, and creating work that gets people talking. If you’re someone who can stay cool when plans change, loves being in the middle of the action, and gets excited about bringing ambitious concepts to life, this could be the role for you!

As Senior Production Manager, you’ll be the person making sure every detail comes together, from the earliest stages of planning through the final guest departure. You’ll work across exciting events, activations, and experiential campaigns while partnering with creative, strategy, talent, PR, and client teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable building a production timeline as they are troubleshooting on-site when something inevitably changes!

The Role:

Bring major events, brand activations, and experiential campaigns to life from initial idea through execution

Own the moving pieces behind each production, including schedules, staffing, vendors, budgets, and event-day details

Build trusted relationships with venues, suppliers, production partners, and other creative collaborators

Partner with internal teams to transform ambitious creative concepts into polished, memorable experiences

Take charge on-site, keeping teams, vendors, and event logistics running smoothly from load-in to wrap

Anticipate challenges before they happen and find smart, creative solutions when plans inevitably shift

Help develop efficient production processes and systems as the agency continues to grow

Provide direction and support to freelancers, event staff, and junior team members

The Ideal Candidate:

5+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, brand activations, or a related field

Proven experience taking events and experiences from concept through completion

Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines

Calm, resourceful, and quick-thinking when working in high-pressure environments

Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Creative problem solver who enjoys finding solutions rather than focusing on obstacles

Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on production and execution

Strong understanding of production budgets, timelines, and vendor management

Existing relationships with production partners and vendors are a plus

Experience within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, or consumer brands is highly valued

Previous experience managing freelancers, crews, or junior team members is a plus

Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required for events

Location: NYC

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience

Commission Potential: Business development bonus available for new client
