NOW HIRING: Project Accountant II / Senior Project Accountant
Douglaston, NY | Hybrid
We’re working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join an established real estate/construction organisation. The position will manage accounting across multiple complex projects throughout various stages of the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead multi-project accounting and financial reporting
• Monitor actuals vs. budget and investigate variances
• Reconcile and classify project costs and billing deferrals
• Create, review and monitor project cash flow and revenue
• Analyse and project revenue and expenses throughout project lifecycles
• Partner with internal and external project stakeholders
• Assist with project and subcontractor closeout
What We’re Looking For:
• 6–9 years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Sage Intacct and Procore experience is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Construction/project accounting experience
Compensation
• Project Accountant II: $98K–$120K
• Senior Project Accountant: $118K–$150K
• No bonus
