Job description
Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Role: Support mechanical construction on some of the largest high tech projects around.
Salary 80-100k + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Boise ID or Seattle WA
Join a growing and respected construction organization where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, profitable mechanical construction projects. This position supports Project Managers through coordination, scheduling, cost tracking, procurement, document control, and collaboration with field and office teams.
What You'll Do
Support project planning, scheduling, and execution from kickoff through completion
Track labor hours, material costs, forecasts, and project profitability
Assist with procurement, subcontract buyouts, and equipment/material deliveries
Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, engineers, detailers, and clients
Maintain project records and ensure contractual compliance
Support fabrication planning, material takeoffs, and budgeting
Promote and uphold jobsite safety standards
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred
Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering preferred, or equivalent construction experience
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus
Understanding of construction sequencing and mechanical/plumbing systems preferred
