What You'll Do
You'll lead transportation projects from concept through construction while serving as a trusted technical resource for clients and project teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing highway and transportation projects from planning through construction support
Leading roadway design using NYSDOT standards and Federal Aid requirements
Preparing design reports, construction plans, specifications, and bid documents
Providing technical leadership and quality oversight throughout project delivery
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and agency partners
Mentoring engineers and helping develop the next generation of transportation professionals
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical infrastructure solutions

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
New York Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) or willingness to obtain shortly after joining
Eight or more years of transportation engineering experience
Strong experience delivering NYSDOT and Federal Aid transportation projects
Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead project teams while building productive client relationships

Estimated Salary Range:
$121,680 –$138,320 annually
Actual compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, technical expertise, geographic location, and market conditions.
