Job description
Senior Project ManagerWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the selection and implementation of a new enterprise trading platform. This individual will serve as the primary project manager responsible for driving the initiative from the current RFP/vendor evaluation phase through full implementation and integration into the organization's technology ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end implementation of an enterprise trading platform.Build and maintain a comprehensive, integrated project plan using tools like Microsoft Project.Drive both business and technology workstreams simultaneously.Partner with business leaders, traders, technology teams, vendors, and executives.Navigate the vendor selection process, which is currently at the RFP stage.Coordinate the integration of the new platform into existing company systems.Develop the project charter, business case support, and a detailed implementation roadmap.Manage all project-related risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.Work with Business Analysts to define requirements and coordinate estimates from technology teams.Drive executive-level reporting and manage stakeholder communications across multiple audiences.Required QualificationsThe ideal candidate is an individual who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing executive-level communication with hands-on project execution.Technical Experience: Candidates must have a solid understanding of enterprise software implementations, system integrations, APIs, production deployment, SDLC, enterprise architecture concepts, and infrastructure dependencies. While not required to be an engineer, the candidate must be technical enough to challenge engineering teams and understand implementation sequencing.Business Experience: A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in Wealth Management, Capital Markets, trading platforms, investment systems, portfolio management, or Front Office trading environments. Experience with trading platforms is considered more valuable than prior experience within this specific organization.Ideal Candidate ProfilePresents effectively to executives and communicates with senior leadership.Influences stakeholders and builds compelling business cases.Drives detailed execution, creates integrated project plans, and produces project charters.Manages vendors, builds dependency maps, and works directly with Business Analysts.Demonstrates calmness under pressure and a patient, diplomatic approach.Provides consultative, white-glove service to all stakeholders.
