OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to remotely lead IT projects associated to infrastructure services (network, telecom, end-user devices, servers, and storage), acquisitions and divestitures (A&D) in enterprise healthcare environments.

OPPORTUNITY

Duration: 6-month W2 contract with extension or conversion

Location: Fully remote in the United States, aligned to U.S. Central Time Zone hours

Compensation: $130,000 -- $140,000 plus health benefits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead team meetings, gathering and reporting status updates, tracking action items, managing projects and resources across the organization and vendors.

Project-manage the infrastructure services (network, telecom, end-user devices, servers, and storage) including acquisitions & divestitures.

Develop and manage charters, work breakdown structures, project plans, vendors, clinical standards teams and facilitate organizational updates in a fast-moving Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures environment.

Project-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, complex issue resolution, excellent communications and team building skills.

Project-manage the construction projects and application portfolios as needed.

Oversight of project scope definition and management, requirements gathering and documentation, project schedule development and tracking, project budget management, project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and communications across multiple organizational levels.

Manage project deliverables in ServiceNow (PPM), Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

KEY EXPERIENCE

8 years' experience of functional project management in the healthcare technology space.

Healthcare merger, acquisition, divestiture, integration, or separation experience, including the ability to operate effectively in complex transaction environments.

Experience with Infrastructure services (network, telecom, end-user devices, servers, and storage) and healthcare mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (M&A&D).

Experience in project managing the applications of a construction projects (e.g. unit expansion, new hospital/clinic, medical office building, data center, network, broadband switches etc.).

Demonstrated ability to build collaboration, de-escalate tension, resolve ambiguity, and maintain a professional, positive team environment.

EHR application implementation experience (Cerner or Epic) is preferred.

Experience managing business, operational, technology, and compliance workstreams across large-scale healthcare initiatives.

Experience with Smart Sheets, ServiceNow project management tools and Google Suite.

Bachelor's degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are preferred.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Quick turnaround: preliminary interview followed by team interview on phone and Google Meets.

Typically, one round with the hiring manager, joined by the team (virtual interview), possibly two rounds if necessary.
