Senior Project Manager, Practice BuilderKimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to expand our Structures-Bridge practice in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida!ResponsibilitiesSupport the growth of the firm in our civil, infrastructure, and/or structures-bridge practicesDevelop and maintain good relationships with coworkers, industry peers, and clientsPerform and review structural design calculations, prepare project document submittal packages, and maintain Quality Control for the entire projectConduct site investigations and structural evaluations while documenting field observations and preparing technical reportsSupport and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, owners, contractors, and design team membersContribute to identifying project opportunities through networking with new and existing clientsLeadership responsibilities include: Operating with integrity and sound business principalsProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a structural-bridge practiceManage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications10+ years of diversified structural and bridge engineering experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseHistory of providing technical design and planning on a variety of structuresKnowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup with some ability to produce drawings and details, when neededKnowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other structural related design softwareExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skillsStrong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problemsAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyExperience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected workWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
