Senior Project Mechanical Engineering Manager
Location: On-Site, Branchburg, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time
I'm partnered with a growing life sciences manufacturer seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineering Supervisor/Manager to lead several high-impact engineering initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning complex projects from concept through execution.
What You'll Do:
Take ownership of 2-3 critical engineering projects following an onboarding and training period.
Lead the implementation of a backup power generation system, including a new generator and automatic transfer switch.
Manage the full interior build-out of a new facility, including the installation of multiple self-contained systems and equipment.
Serve as the key technical resource for mechanical and electrical system integration.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong mechanical engineering background with a solid understanding of mechanical/electrical interfaces.
Proven experience managing complex capital projects and equipment installations.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
Experience within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on key infrastructure and facility expansion projects while helping shape the future growth of the organization.
Compensation is targeted in the $120K-$140K base salary range with an additional 10-15% bonus opportunity .
