Are you looking for a new position to grow your accounting skills? Are you looking for a company that promotes from within? This group is located in Columbus, Ohio has grown to nine offices nationwide, and specializes in commercial property management and construction. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and generous PTO including time off on your birthday. This Senior Property Accountant will assist with approximately 20 properties overseeing various accounting tasks and analysis.
nAfter six months of employment employees have the option of a hybrid schedule, two days at home a week!
nDuties Include:
nnMonitoring cash balances
nCreating monthly and quarterly financial statements according to GAAP
nCollaborating with Property Managers on variance reporting
nReviewing balance sheets and income statements to verify account balances
nDistributing financials
nAssisting in recoverable charges reconciliation
nReviewing lease entries
nOverseeing fixed assets
nReviewing income statements
nPreparing documents for annual audits
n nRequirements:
nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
nWorking knowledge of GAPP and financial reporting
nYardi Voyager experience is a plus
nAt least five years of experience in property accounting
