Job description
We’re seeking an experienced Property Facultative Underwriter to drive new and renewal business, build strong client relationships, and support continued growth across the portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Underwrite Facultative certificate and program business, with a focus on Direct placements
Develop new business opportunities and cultivate existing client relationships
Market the business and build strong broker/client relationships
Travel domestically for marketing and audits, up to 30%
Support new and renewal business across the Facultative team
What You’ll Bring
5–10 years of Property Facultative Reinsurance underwriting experience; Primary E&S experience considered
Strong understanding of property underwriting, including rate adequacy, line setting, PML/MFL analysis, and catastrophe exposure
Knowledge of regional markets and a proven track record of client marketing
Ability to manage a high volume of submissions in a collaborative environment
Experience with RMS and AIR catastrophe modeling platforms
Proficiency in Excel
CPCU, ARe, or other insurance designations preferred
