Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 9+ years of experience in both Automation and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end testing, frontend and backend validation, API/service testing, and test automation using Selenium. The candidate should be capable of driving quality initiatives, creating comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring high-quality software deliveries. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium.
Perform manual and automated functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test documentation.
Validate frontend (UI) and backend (API/service) components across applications.
Perform API/Service testing using Postman and SoapUI for REST and SOAP services.
Validate API requests, responses, business rules, authentication, and data integrity.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
Identify, log, prioritize, track, and verify defects through resolution.
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting activities.
Contribute to test strategy, automation framework improvements, and QA best practices.
Support UAT, production validation, and release testing activities.
Mentor junior QA team members and provide technical guidance on testing approaches.
Required Qualifications
9+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing.
Experience with Selenium for test automation.
Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.
Strong experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management.
Good knowledge of frontend and backend testing.
Hands-on experience in API/Service testing using REST/SOAP, Postman, and SoapUI.
Understanding of test automation frameworks and QA best practices.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Healthcare domain.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or similar API testing tools.
Exposure to performance and security testing concepts.
