Job description

Project Fixers delivers IT programs that are too important to fail.

You will lead the SIT and UAT cycles of a major ERP rollout — the stretch of the program where go-live dates are won or lost. You'll mobilize 20–30 testers (BAs and business SMEs), keep them moving every day with high-energy facilitation, and drive SI and engineering teams to triage and resolve what testing uncovers, all the way to go-live.

What You'll Be DoingOwn the test program end to end: strategy, plans, entry/exit criteria, environments and test data across SIT, UAT and regression cycles

Mobilize and lead 20–30 testers – BAs and business SMEs with day jobs – and secure the time commitments from their leaders

Run daily stand-ups and test war rooms; keep testers engaged, unblocked and on pace through long cycles

Lead daily defect triage with SI and engineering teams; separate true defects from configuration gaps, data issues and change requests, and drive each to resolution

Call schedule risk early, escalate what's stuck, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, including when the message is not easy

Assemble exit-criteria evidence, secure SIT/UAT sign-off, and give a clear go/no-go recommendation

What This Role Requires8+ years in QA, testing or delivery leadership, including leading SIT/UAT for at least two large ERP or CRM rollouts through go-live (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Salesforce or similar)

Proven experience leading large groups of business testers – not just a team of professional QA engineers

High-energy, positive facilitation: the ability to run a tight, productive room every day for weeks

Experience driving defect resolution with system integrators and multiple technical teams, and holding partners to agreed turnaround times

Strong grasp of end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report) and how integrations and data conversion affect testing

Hands-on with test management tools such as Jira (Xray/Zephyr), Azure DevOps, ALM/Octane or SAP Cloud ALM

Strongly PreferredExperience leading test cycles on programs that were behind schedule or under heavy executive scrutiny

Data migration validation and mock-conversion testing

Background as a business analyst or functional consultant

Experience using AI tools as testing accelerators

This Role Is Not for EveryoneThis role is likely not a fit if:

Your testing experience is primarily with professional QA teams, not business users

You've managed test execution but haven't owned defect resolution with SIs and engineering

You prefer heads-down work over running a room all day

About Project FixersWe focus on delivery - not PMP theory. Project Fixers manages delivery of complex IT programs that involve major system implementations, integrations, and digital transformations. We are expert fixers who can put any IT project that's going sideways back on track.
