Description

As a patient safety professional, this position will exercise responsibility and accountability for coordinating, collecting, disseminating, and intervening in a manner that anticipates & prevents safety concerns through proactive risk assessment, as well as responding after the fact to evaluate actual safety events within the Puget Sound Physician Clinical Network. This role will lead patient safety investigations within a multidisciplinary team to determine process improvements that will improve patient safety and eliminate preventable patient harm.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Or

Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.

3 years Direct patient care experience as RN,

Preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing

1 year experience in ambulatory care

5 years Related experience in safety and regulatory compliance, with 2 years experience in a healthcare setting.

Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Or

Upon hire: Certification in Infection Prevention

About the Team

Providence Clinical Network (PCN) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Pay Range: $55.45 - $86.08. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
