Our 210,000-square-foot manufacturing facility utilizes advanced machining technology and precision inspection equipment to manufacture components that require exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Our Quality team plays a vital role in every product we ship. Here, your expertise directly impacts customer success.As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will:Perform advanced dimensional inspections using CMMs, optical comparators, height gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipmentInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirementsComplete First Article Inspections (AS9102) and customer-required inspection documentationReview and maintain inspection plans, quality documentation, and control plansSupport PPAP activities and customer qualification requirementsInvestigate nonconforming product and participate in root cause and corrective action activitiesMaintain calibration and inspection equipmentParticipate in internal, customer, and AS9100 quality auditsPartner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product quality and manufacturing processesMentor newer Quality Technicians while helping strengthen quality best practices across the departmentRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentFive or more years of quality inspection experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretationExperience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)Experience working within an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management SystemKnowledge of SPC, PPAP, and root cause analysis methodologiesStrong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across departmentsWe believe great employees deserve great benefits.Medical & Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Dental InsuranceCompany-Paid Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany-Paid Life & AD&D InsuranceSupplemental Insurance Plans Available401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Unpaid Excused AbsencesCompany-Paid UniformsTraining & Apprenticeship OpportunitiesSafety Shoe & Glasses Reimbursement ProgramGym Membership Reimbursement ProgramWhy You'll Love Working Here:Earn $35.00–$50.00 per hour15% Shift Premium on 2nd ShiftInspect complex aerospace, defense, and high-precision componentsWork with advanced CMMs and precision inspection technologyCollaborate with Engineers, Machinists, and Manufacturing professionalsModern manufacturing facility with advanced equipmentStable, growing Wisconsin manufacturerOpportunities for continued technical growth and advancementAbout StrohwigStrohwig is a precision machining manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, energy, and other high-performance industries.
