Job description
Senior Robotics Software Engineer / Onsite / SF Bay area / ~$150k - $200k
My client is a high-growth, robotics startup that are building general purpose robots for highly-physically demanding, hazardous, and difficult industrial jobs. To help combat labor shortages, they're developing autonomous solutions to serve the construction, energy, manufacturing, and semiconductor industries. They're looking to add a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to the team that will leverage their experience to, in short, help build out simulation environments.
Required:
Strong experience in robotics software - 5+ years
Experienced in building out and owning robotics simulation environments
Experienced in ROS2 and robotics middleware or DDS
C++ and Python
Experienced working with robotics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Omniverse, or Mujoco
Experienced in developing software for physical systems or robotics
Bonus:
Behavior tree experience
Developing software/simulation environments for autonomous systems
Distributed Systems
