What you will be doing: We are seeking a Senior Service Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” approach to join our team! This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be expected to step in, take ownership, and deliver results right away.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the community meet company standards and applicable laws. As the Senior Service Technician, you will:
Lead, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and completing repairs
Provide expert-level troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances
Be accountable for a 24-hour on-call schedule, including personal availability for emergencies such as snow, ice, or urgent site issues
Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials
Establish and drive schedules – on-call coverage, preventive maintenance, make-readies, and daily work orders
Conduct regular inspections of community buildings and vacant units
Execute tasks assigned by the Service Manager with urgency and accountability

What we’ll expect from you:
Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred
One-year certificate, 2–4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education
Ability to lead, work fast, and operate without constant
Benefits of Employment:
Pay Range: $25.00–$31.00/per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions – paid monthly
$300 Morgan Essentials – paid quarterly
On-call Appreciation – $15 /day for holding the on-call phone

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
