Job Description Job Description Senior Sheet Metal Fabrication Lead Pay: $32-$34/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift • Full-time • Permanent
A day in this role When first shift kicks off, you're reviewing blueprints and fabrication drawings, mapping out the sequence from raw stock to the final assembly. You lay out, fit, tack, and MIG weld steel components into precision-built ductwork and ventilation systems. Throughout the day, you verify measurements, inspect weld quality, and keep the workspace orderly so safety, accuracy, and throughput stay high. After your training period is complete, you'll outfit yourself with your own set of personal tools to keep performance consistent.
Core responsibilities MIG weld steel components for custom ductwork and ventilation systems
Interpret and follow blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
Fit, tack, weld, and finish assemblies from start to finish
Maintain strict safety, quality, and accuracy standards
Keep a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
What you bring MIG welding experience
MUST HAVE Galvanized and Carbon Steel Experience
MUST be able to fabricate from raw material to finished product
Ability to read welding symbols and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and safety
Willingness to buy personal tools once trained
Ability to perform physical fabrication tasks
You should be proficient in: Blueprint Reading

TIG Welder
Stick Welder
Manual Grinder
