Job description
Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Senior Social Worker in Palliative Medicine and Geriatrics for Union Square, Downtown, full-time days. This role provides psychosocial screening, discharge planning, crisis intervention and family counseling within a multidisciplinary team.
You will manage a clinically complex caseload, supervise staff and interns, advocate for patients, coordinate resources, and document in the medical record in accordance with hospital standards.
