Job description
Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise software applications.
Serve as technical lead for software development projects and application enhancement initiatives.
Design application architecture, system integrations, and scalable technical solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and develop technology roadmaps.
Develop and maintain integrations between ERP systems, manufacturing systems, cloud applications, databases, and external platforms.
Establish and promote software development standards, coding practices, and quality assurance processes.
Perform code reviews and mentor developers on technical best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, performance, and integration issues.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Develop technical specifications, architecture documentation, and development standards.
Participate in project planning, resource estimation, and technical risk assessments.
Ensure software solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability requirements.
Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to support enterprise technology initiatives.
Provide advanced support for business-critical applications and systems.
Partner with vendors and third-party technical resources when necessary.
Perform related duties as required.

This position requires extensive software development experience, strong technical leadership capabilities, and expertise in enterprise application development and integration. The Senior Software Developer must demonstrate the ability to balance hands‑on development responsibilities with solution architecture and technical leadership activities.

Skills, Abilities, and Education
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.
Experience
7+ years of progressive software development experience.
Demonstrated experience leading complex software development projects.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in manufacturing, supply chain, or food production environments strongly preferred.
Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership preferred.
Technology
Advanced proficiency with .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, source control, and DevOps technologies.
Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, software engineering practices, and cloud technologies.
Experience integrating ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
