About the role
The Trade Desk is hiring a senior software engineer for the Ventura OS Infrastructure team in Bellevue, Washington. The role involves designing, building, operating, and monitoring cloud infrastructure systems supporting Ventura OS, a Smart TV operating system.
Designing, building, operating, and monitoring cloud infrastructure systems supporting Ventura OS, a Smart TV operating system.
Managing compute (VMs, Kubernetes), networking, databases (SQL/NoSQL), storage, identity services, and GPU infrastructure.
Ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, security, and compliance of cloud services.
Delivering build infrastructure and developer tooling, owning telemetry pipelines, and leading infrastructure migrations.
Required qualifications
6+ years of software engineering experience with cloud platforms or distributed systems
Strong backend development skills in Node.js/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#
Expertise in infrastructure-as-code, observability, relational and NoSQL databases
Experience mentoring engineers
