Our engineering teams build the software that powers clinical care delivery at Oak Street Health — patient scheduling, care coordination, clinical records, and the integrations that connect our systems to health networks across the country. As a Sr Software Engineer, youll own complex workstreams, drive technical decisions within your domain, and mentor the engineers around you. The work needs to be reliable, maintainable, and built to evolve — and in a healthcare environment, the quality of the design has direct clinical consequences.
Design and implement robust file-ingestion pipelines using Databricks
Own a domain or service area end-to-end, including its data model and integration contracts
Lead code reviews, set technical standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
5+ years building distributed backend systems in production
~ Proficiency building system prompts and utilizing AI frameworks
~ Hands-on experience with MongoDB or comparable document stores
~ Experience with cloud-native deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience building extract, transform, load (ETL/ELT) workflows using Databricks
Bachelors degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range
83,430.00 - $222,480.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
