Job description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $125,000 to $135,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop software solutions that support core business functions and customer facing applications.
Build and maintain system integrations while ensuring reliable communication between internal and external platforms.
Optimize application performance through efficient coding practices database improvements and system enhancements.
Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate architecture decisions and support platform scalability.
Troubleshoot production issues maintain system reliability and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a development environment.
Demonstrate strong proficiency with modern programming frameworks and backend application development.
Possess experience working with relational databases including performance tuning and data management.
Use cloud technologies development tools and deployment platforms effectively throughout the software lifecycle.
Work comfortably with application interfaces integrations and service based architectures.
Qualifications Write clean maintainable code while following development standards and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to collaborative software development efforts.
Apply strong analytical skills to solve technical challenges and improve application performance.
Adapt to evolving business needs while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Bring experience in logistics commerce data warehousing or distributed technology environments considered beneficial.
