Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Data Modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement business solutions that leverage the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem, ensuring efficient data architecture and integration across enterprise applications.

What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Customize, configure, and extend Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements.
Develop and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational needs across applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs and scalable solutions.
Implement integration solutions between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware tools.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
Create technical documentation, conduct training sessions, and provide support for implemented solutions.
Participate in code reviews, agile development processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Software Development
What You Will Have
Has participated in development of large software products, including upgrades and migrations.
Estimates and monitors development costs based on functional and technical requirements.
Provides consulting on both selection and utilization of developers' workbench tools.
Software Development Life Cycle
Describes similarities and differences of life cycle for new product development vs. new release.
Works with a formal life cycle methodology.
Interprets product development plans and functional documentation.
Software Integration Engineering
Has experience with designing data exchange interfaces to and from software product.
Describes tools and techniques for extraction, transformation and loading of electronic data.
Works with integrating software into the customer or partner framework and infrastructure.
Participates in the development of technology interfaces and bridges.
Software Product Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of technical aspects of a software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
Considerations For Top Candidates
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development.
Expert level experience with Azure DevOps
Strong data modeling skills, including relational and dimensional data models.
Knowledge of Common Data Service (Dataverse) and data integration approaches.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services is a plus.
Extensive experience with SQL
Working knowledge of Azure tenant and environment management
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or Power Query.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform or Dynamics 365.
Experience with cloud solutions architecture and deployment.
Understanding of business process automation and CRM/ERP systems.
Knowledge of Caterpillar dealer hierarchy data that reflects how dealers are organized
Summary Pay Range
$112,710.00 - $183,140.00
