Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer (SE III) , you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Your experienced skill set will allow you to have a high command of a defined area of our platform, and be able to complete small to medium-scale projects with minimal guidance. You will also get the chance to work closely with our Product team to help design and solve the overall user experience of our platform. One thing is certain; you will be a core contributor working on production code. The work you do will become part of the day-to-day life of thousands of our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Complete small to medium-sized projects with minimal guidance
Develop and maintain microservice APIs using C# and .Net
Develop and maintain our front-end React application
Develop and maintain our cross-platform MAUI mobile apps
Participate in weekly releases
Explore new and existing Azure services to scale our platform efficiently
Mentor junior software developers by advocating for best practices.
Perform code reviews
Work closely with product and support teams
Meet weekly with team to discuss ongoing projects
Extend and document changes to existing subsystems as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
6+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
C# / .NET
RESTful APIs
Dapper – or other microORM
React - or other modern JavaScript framework
SQL - or other relational database
Azure – or other cloud-based technologies
Experience with microservice architecture
Experience working in an Agile environment
Expertise in building secure, scalable, enterprise systems
Strong communication skills
Strong CSS skills
Xamarin or MAUI experience
Azure Functions / Service Bus / Event Hubs
CI/CD pipelines - Azure DevOps
NoSQL Databases - MongoDB & Cosmos
Docker, Kubernetes, or Container Apps
Experience with Azure Application Insights
Experience with database schema design and query optimization
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least six years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Benefits
Compensation range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually
Employee medical and dental paid by the company; you just cover vision.
4 weeks (160 hours) accrued paid vacation in your first year.
