Job description
Goliath Partners is working with a NYC venture focused in low-latency development that is targeting Sr Software Engineers who specialize in C++ to join their rapidly growing team (aiming to double in headcount by end of 2023). This opportunity gets you deep into the core of decentralized finance, with an established team that founded one of the largest centralized HFT shops in the industry, now working on reducing latencies across their HFT c++ based blockchain.
Leadership is predominately made up of Two Sigma, Exos and Jane Street.
The team is preferring individuals in New York that are open to a day a week on-site. Alternatively, if you are out of state and want to relocate - they can offer a competitive relocation package to get you here.
Regarding non-competes, this firm is happy to offer advice. In most cases you\'ll be able to work for them whilst serving your NC.
Should you require transfers/ sponsorship this is also possible.
Essential skills
BS in CompSci (or similarly related field).
Familiarity working with low latency (trading/ search engines or similar).
C, C++ core expertise.
Interest in the DeFi/ blockchain space.
Knowledge of one or more of the following; distributed systems, data structures &/ or algorithm development.
Beneficial skills
MSCS, PhD. in CS
Experienced in HFT in the United States (ideally from one of the big players).
Compensation
Our client is looking at a base of $212,500-325,000 with an equity package on offer that will bring this opportunity to $425,000-650,000.
