Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack based out of our NYC office.

We’ll Count on You To:
Design, develop and deploy cloud native container based financial applications
Design, develop REST based API Services using NodeJS/Python
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
What You Need to Have:
7+ years of experience designing and developing distributed application architecture of moderate-to-high complexity.
5+ years in Nest JS, React JS, Open Search experience, c#, Docker
In-depth knowledge of Typescript, SCSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, React Hooks, Redux/MobX/Recoil or other state management frameworks
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MSSQL
Experience in working with scrum, keeping track of your sprint item in JIRA and completing everything on time.
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
Ability to lead offshore team
Experience working with multicultural global technology teams in the financial industry
Exceptionally self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with AWS Dynamo DB, AWS Neptune, lambda, S3, document DB
Familiarity with modern data architecture and engineering technologies
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
For New York Roles Only: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $150,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
