Along with willingness to take an active role in their career trajectory; the Senior Java Developer tasked with working with product owners to understand business requirements, integrating architectural direction into designs and producing comprehensive functional/technical code for platforms and applications.
This position is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to residewithin a commutable distance of this location.

Design and deliver solutions thatleverageRDBMS and NoSQL Databases, Container Orchestration Services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Experience with designing and building event driven systems for asynchronous communication between systems and components
Contribute to team development including recruiting efforts, mentorship, and promoting Agile best practices.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher with5or more years of experienceintechnicaldiscipline, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, and information technology.
Intermediate to advanced programming skills in one or more modern languages such asJava, Spring Boot,Nodejs, ReactJS, TypeScript, Java or Python to design, develop andmaintaincustomer experienceson AWS cloud platform.
Proventrack recorddelivering Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Skilled at delivering high-quality, clean, and reusable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD), object-oriented design, and testing for responsive web applications.
Strongproficiencyin developing scalable and resilient RESTmicroservicesAPIs.
Experience building software using design patterns, best practices, and coding standards.
Demonstrated experience with version control practices, including branching, merging, and code review processes.
Experience building observable systems to track the performance of distributed services, trace issues, and troubleshoot failures.
Conduct peer/codereviewstomaintainthe codequality beforepromoting the code to production.
Added bonusif you have
Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks: SOX, PCI-DSS, or GDPR.
