We’re looking for awell-rounded Software Development Engineer II to help lead the transformation of ourTFS core systems into agile, cloud-native, and service-oriented platforms. This is afull stack role that requires strong technical judgment, hands-on experience with modern frameworks, and a proactive approach to system design and delivery. You’ll work across backend and frontend technologies, take ownership of key components, and play a critical role in mentoring junior engineers while shaping the long-term evolution of our core business systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop scalable backend services usingJava ,Spring Boot , and the broaderSpring Framework .
Design and implementmicroservices ,REST APIs , andevent-driven components following layered and client-server architecture patterns.
Deliver cloud-ready solutions usingAWS SDK , and services such asS3 ,DocumentDB ,Arora , andAmazon MSK .
Deploy containerized applications toAmazon EKS usingDocker , with CI/CD support viaJenkins andArtifactory .
Write robust tests usingJUnit ,Mockito ,Ready API ,Postman , andSelenium to ensure code quality and reliability.
Work withNoSQL databases , implement effective caching strategies, and manage builds usingMaven andGitHub .
Document and test APIs usingSwagger and participate in peer reviews, architecture sessions, and production support efforts.
Champion best practices in DevOps, code quality, and scalable design.
What you bring
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient inJava ,Spring Boot , andRESTful API development.
Experience withAWS services includingEKS ,S3 ,MSK ,DocumentDB , andElastiCache .
Solid background inmicroservices ,event-driven architecture, andcloud-native design .
Familiarity withNoSQL databases ,caching , andreal-time streaming .
Strong experience withDocker ,CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory), andGit .
Hands-on testing withJUnit ,Mockito , and API testing tools.
Added Bonus if you have
Experience withAmazon Corretto ,Netty ,Tomcat , or embedded server configurations.
Familiarity withAmazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) .
Knowledge of API documentation usingSwagger/OpenAPI .
Exposure toReady API and service-level test automation.
