Job description
Dream Panel is a licensed platform to receive, hold, convert, spend, and earn — cash and crypto in one account. Deposit addresses can be ready instantly. Funds stay visible and unusable until verification clears, then they can convert, spend, or withdraw. We are based around a founding team that came out of traditional banking.
About the role
You will own core services behind Dream Panel’s one-account rails — deposits, conversion, and the ledgers that keep balances consistent. This is a senior IC role for someone who has shipped production financial software and is comfortable with compliance constraints.
What you'll do
Design and ship backend services for account, transfer, and conversion flows
Keep money-movement paths observable, idempotent, and recoverable
Review designs and pull requests with a bias toward correctness over speed
Partner with Security and Compliance before outbound funds can move
Mentor junior engineers through design docs and production incidents
What we're looking for
7+ years building production backend systems, ideally in fintech or payments
Strong experience with APIs, data stores, and distributed systems
Comfort working in a regulated environment (KYC/AML is not optional here)
Based in the United States and able to work US hours
Nice to have
Experience with ledgers, payment rails, or crypto infrastructure
Go, TypeScript, or similar
Compensation
$150,000 – $220,000 USD / year
Final offers depend on experience, location, and interview performance. Equity may be discussed for eligible roles.
Remote-first US roles unless the posting says hybrid
