Senior AWS Software & DevOps Engineer — Hands-On Startup Role

We’re a fast-moving technology startup looking for a Senior AWS Software & DevOps Engineer who wants to build, not manage from the sidelines .

This is a combined Software Engineering and DevOps role . We’re a small, highly technical team, and DevOps isn’t a separate department—it’s directly embedded in our software development lifecycle and engineering team .

This is a 100% hands-on-keyboard role . No slide decks. No paper pushing. No layers of process. You’ll design and build backend services, create and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and work side-by-side with our software engineers throughout the entire SDLC.

Location: Hazlet, NJ

Schedule: Full-time, in-office 5 days per week

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone senior enough to own problems end-to-end , but who still loves writing code, building infrastructure, digging through logs, improving CI/CD, troubleshooting production systems, and figuring things out.

You should have strong hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code , specifically using tools such as CloudFormation and AWS CDK , along with the ability to script and automate using Python and Bash .

Because we’re a small company, there is no wall between development and DevOps . The same engineers who build our products help architect, deploy, operate, monitor, and improve them. You’ll be an integral part of that team. xzgxqkn
