Our client is hiring a Full-Time Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid opportunity in St. Paul, Minnesota. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with Go and/or Python development
Advanced React and TypeScript development experience
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
AWS cloud experience including core infrastructure services
Docker containerization experience
Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization
Strong testing and software quality practices
Excellent communication and mentorship abilities
Desired Skills & Experience
Kubernetes experience
CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tooling
Event-driven architecture experience
Message queue technologies
Infrastructure as Code experience such as Terraform or CloudFormation
AI or Large Language Model application experience
Startup or high-growth environment experience
What You Will Be Doing
Design scalable application architectures across frontend and backend systems
Build and maintain secure APIs and services
Develop modern web applications utilizing React and TypeScript
Lead technical design discussions and architectural decisions
Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
Improve software quality, testing practices, and system reliability
Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
Participate in deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence efforts
