Senior Specialist, Federal Cyber Security Engineer

Job description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

Conduct enterprise readiness assessments, lead client technical discovery workshops, author comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and security baseline configurations across tenant and workload levels.

Lead phased deployment and configuration of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps

Architect and execute server onboarding across enterprise on-premises and cloud server fleets utilizing Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management baselines

Design and implement zero-touch device provisioning workflows using Windows Autopilot

Stand up secure BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) programs utilizing Intune MAM, curate corporate app catalogs (Good Play and Apple), and configure App Protection Policies (APP) with selective wipe capabilities

Build and execute pre-production pilot test plans, author custom PowerShell and Python scripts for automated policy health auditing, trouble shoot onboarding, telemetry routing, and endpoint synchronization failures

Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of Information / Cyber Security experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Preferred Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), other relevant certifications (e.g. - CCSP, CAP, CEH, CISA)

Relevant Certifications such as Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Security Operations Analyst Associate, Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate preferred

Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements

Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance
