Remote Order Verification Pharmacist – Telepharmacy | Work From Home | Flexible Shifts Including Overnight
Use your verification skills from the comfort of home. As a Remote Order Verification Pharmacist (Telepharmacist), you will review and approve medication orders electronically for hospitals and clinics — protecting patients while enjoying remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, dosing, and regulatory compliance.
Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing errors before approval.
Provide virtual clinical support to prescribers, nurses, and on-site pharmacy staff.
Document verification decisions in the pharmacy information system.
Ensure compliance with state boards, DEA, and federal standards.
Participate in quality-assurance initiatives that improve medication safety.
What You’ll Bring
Education: PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Licensure: Active U.S. pharmacist license (multi-state preferred).
Experience: Hospital or community order verification preferred. Pharmacists transitioning from other settings are welcome.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and comfort with technology platforms.
