Job description
Senior Stair Installer & Delivery Driver
Southern Staircase (Edge Building Solutions) is seeking an experienced carpenter/installer for a hands-on, field-based role installing high-end stair systems. This is NOT a delivery-only position —you'll be actively installing on job sites while also handling deliveries.

What You'll Do:
Install custom stair systems (straight & curved)
Cut, level, shim, and secure components using hand/power tools
Read and execute blueprints and layouts
Load, deliver, and unload materials (up to 75 lbs.)
Drive a 26' box truck to job sites
Assist in the warehouse as needed
Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites
What You Bring:
2+ years of carpentry, framing, or woodworking experience (REQUIRED)
Skilled with saws, drills, levels, and measuring tools
Ability to read layouts and work independently
Valid driver's license + clean MVR
DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
Must be 21+ years old
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in outdoor/job site conditions
Important:
This is a physical, hands-on installation role
Not a warehouse-only or delivery-only position
