Job description
Operating Room TechnicianAbility to work well with a team and focus on priorities for Operating Room schedule.Decontaminates, prepares, packages and sterilizes surgical instrumentation and supplies. Performs all duties of a Certified Sterile Technician. Meets daily required distribution of processed materials with proper documentation and reports submitted. Assures proper instrumentation requirements for the surgical schedule as indicated by supervisor and SPD/OR Liaison. Operates the sterilizer and ensures that staff is producing a minimum of 4 trays each.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Graduation from a Central Services Technician course and Certification preferred.Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in this job classification required; 5 years preferred.Computer knowledge required.Good interpersonal skills necessary.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
