We are seeking a full‑time Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager to join our Helena, MT office. Your Role:
As a Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects, leading teams, and driving engineering solutions.
Overseeing the design and execution of complex structural engineering projects
Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering staff
Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
Coordinating with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Conducting construction oversight and administration as needed
Leading business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement
Ensuring all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Collaborating with other Project Managers / Multidisciplinary teams on projects to ensure timely completion

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced leader with strong technical and project management skills. The candidate will work under experienced department managers all holding Professional Engineer licenses. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and eager to contribute to a growing team. TD&H will provide project management training if necessary. The ideal candidate will have:
B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural focus (M.S. preferred) from an accredited university
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
6+ years of experience in structural engineering
Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams
Strong client relationship management and business development experience
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and deliver high‑quality work on schedule
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
