Job description
I have a client located in the York area that has an opportunity for a Senior Structural Project Engineer.
In this role, you will be working as a Senior Structural Project Engineer for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for design of structural systems to account for transport, live and seismic loads.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology
6+ years of experience as a team lead or supervisor
Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks)
Review structural designs for compliance to codes (UFC, IBC, ANSI, ASCE)
Attend job kick off meetings and participate in design reviews with customers
Prepare and update task lists
Track schedules and budgets
Provide technical input to the CAD design tea,
Interface with other department to resolve technical issues
