Job description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-driven Senior Subcontracts Manager to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii .
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Plans and directs the work of subcontracting departments and monitors the status of open subcontracts to ensure timely delivery.
Implement organizational policies for subcontractor evaluation and negotiate complex terms for the acquisition of mission-critical materials.
Supervise the preparation of procurement reports and ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to federal safety and quality standards.
Manages the execution of subcontract expediting and procurement tasks for special operations facilities within the Pacific AOR.
Evaluate regional procurement status reports to prioritize resource allocation and ensure infrastructure reliability for high-impact mission sets.
Lead the coordination of local vendors and logistics teams to resolve performance issues affecting theater operations.
Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
10+ years of position-relevant experience.
Experience in quality gate oversight and developing technical subcontracting protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or a related field.
Experience with Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) or USACE procurement.
Knowledge of MIL-STD delivery and security protocols.
Clearance Requirement
Must hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
