Job description
Salary range :
$82,000 - $100,000 per year
Workplace type : This is a fully remote position with a hybrid option (all applicants must live within a commutable distance of Panama City, FL or Jacksonville, FL to be considered)
What you will be doing :
* Preparing, reviewing and/or managing deliverables, including corporate, personal, tangible, partnership, non-profit, etc. tax returns
* Preparing and reviewing tax planning projections
* Conducting tax research and outlining findings and conclusions
* Responding to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and tax notices
* Communicating directly with existing clients, management, and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters
* Assisting with business development efforts, including but not limited to, meeting with prospective clients, preparing fee quotes and proposals, and evaluating clients' needs
* Engaging in consulting and special projects as requested by Management and Clients
What qualifications we are looking for:
* 4+ years working for a CPA firm
* Licensed CPA, EA Certification or CPA exam qualified
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work well independently as well as part of the team
* Experience with UltraTax (required), Workpapers CS (preferred), Planner CS (preferred)
