Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Review sales, use, and property tax returns for accuracy and compliance.

Analyze monthly tax data and recommend filing positions to minimize liability.

Research tax treatment of leases; ensure exemption certificates are maintained.

Advise remarketing group on tax implications of equipment sales.

Resolve customer and collections issues related to tax charges.

Monitor and respond to sales/use and property tax notices.

Coordinate lessee billing and reconcile tax accounts to the general ledger.

Research tax issues and monitor law changes for impact on filings.

Serve as audit liaison; perform internal reviews and support audit responses.

Manage return filings, signatures, and payments.

Assist with the preparation of state and local income tax returns and schedules.

Support state/local income tax audits and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.

5+ years of relevant tax experience, including Sales and Use Tax.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables essential).

Property Tax experience preferred.

Prior review experience required.

Experience with OPT, Vertex; OneSource a plus.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and time management abilities.
