The Partner hiring for this role made Partner himself just four years ago. He's ambitious, heavily involved with clients and genuinely invested in developing his team. His philosophy is pretty simple. If you're capable of operating at the next level, why should you have to wait?
They're hiring a Senior Tax Accountant today, but for the right person, you could be looking at a move into Management within the next 12 months.
The firm has been established for over 35 years, with around 20 people and a strong reputation across Miami. It's small enough that you'll work directly with the Partners, but don't mistake that for small clients or basic tax returns.
Their clients range from local businesses to international organisations, typically generating between $1M and $50M in revenue. You'll gain exposure to real estate, manufacturing, professional services, international tax and more, alongside consulting and litigation support work.
They're also part of a global accounting alliance spanning over 100 countries, giving you access to international resources and technical experience that many firms three times their size can't offer.
Essentially, you'll get the exposure of a much larger firm, but with the visibility and progression opportunities of a smaller one.
One thing that stood out when speaking with the Partner was just how involved he remains. You're not joining somewhere that Partners only appear when there's a problem. You'll work directly alongside experienced CPAs from larger firm backgrounds, take ownership of client relationships and gradually move into more complex work.
They're looking for someone with 4+ years of Public Accounting tax experience who's confident preparing and reviewing individual and business returns, enjoys client interaction and wants to develop into a leadership role.
The position is fully onsite in Coral Gables, which won't suit everyone, but for someone who enjoys working closely with experienced professionals and learning directly from the people running the business, there's a lot to gain.
The firm is growing, the client base is getting bigger and they want someone who can grow with it.
