Senior Tax Manager – Brooklyn
CPA or EA | High-growth firm | Leadership opportunity | Long-term progression
An entrepreneurial, rapidly growing accounting business is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to become a key part of its Brooklyn leadership team.
The business is acquiring CPA practices, investing heavily in technology and building a modern accounting platform designed around client relationships, automation and growth .
They want someone who can take real ownership — managing clients, developing staff, reviewing complex tax work and helping shape how the operation develops as the business continues to expand.
The work will include:
Reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120 and 1041 returns
Owning key small-business and business-owner relationships
Leading and developing tax staff
Managing workflow and deadlines
Tax planning and advisory
Supporting bookkeeping and financial statement work
Improving processes and helping introduce new technology
Working closely with senior leadership as the business grows
What they’re looking for:
CPA or EA
Strong public accounting experience
Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager level
Broad generalist tax background
Strong review and client-management experience
Previous staff leadership
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with change/growth
