Job description
Diagnostic Imaging SonographerJoin a dynamic imaging team where your expertise truly makes a difference. This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of sonographic examinations across OB/GYN, abdominal, and small-parts specialties. You'll work closely with radiologists, providing essential support during invasive procedures and contributing to high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small-parts imaging.Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.Conduct abdominal Doppler studies, including evaluations of the liver and liver transplant patients.Perform Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams.Maintain eligibility for Senior Sonographer status by holding at least one additional certification in Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency, or Neonatal specialties.Exercise sound clinical judgment by assessing patient conditions using information from referring providers, medical records, patient interviews, and personal evaluation.Required Qualifications:Coursework/Training and Successful completion of Ultrasound training program --- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examinationUpon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography --or-- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical SonographyUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association2 years of experience as a sonographerProvidence Swedish caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
