Today, Fishing Planet is available on eight platforms — Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile (iOS and Android). Building a successful free-to-play simulator is about much more than creating a game. It involves developing and maintaining a complex ecosystem of gameplay mechanics, physics, backend infrastructure, and internal tools. At Fishing Planet, you'll have the opportunity to take on diverse challenges, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute directly to a product played by millions of people around the world.
We are currently looking for a Unity Developer to join our team and help shape the future of Fishing Planet across multiple platforms.
Your impact:
Development of gameplay logic for complex F2P game:
Developing core gameplay mechanics,
Supporting and extending already implemented game features,
Developers toolkit improvements and implementation,
Performance optimization.
You will bring:
5+ years of programming experience,
3+ years of game development in Unity, solid understanding of Unity engine,
Senior skills in .NET Framework and C#,
Understanding of multithreading and synchronisation patterns,
Knowledge and understanding of design patterns and OOA&D,
Basic understanding of shader programing,
Fundamental mathematics and physics background as well as experience with game physics engines will be a great plus.
Will be a plus:
ECS experience,
HDRP experience,
Unity DOTS experience,
Unity Burst Compiler utilization experience.
