nGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Specialist for a Hybrid position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.

nCompensation: $87.00 - $90.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

nPosition Overview:

nThis role will join a growing UX Center of Excellence to provide support for the IT Digital team. The successful candidate will create a seamless, intuitive, creative, and effective user and customer experience across the entire product portfolio, leading the development of innovative and functional end-to-end experiences and interfaces for a variety of personas to align with the company's digital transformation strategy.

nKey Responsibilities:

nnnDesign the user experience of digital products and online applications by developing wireframes, prototypes, page flow / task flow designs, and navigation/information architecture

n

nnAnalyze and understand problems in order to develop creative, forward-thinking solutions

n

nnEnsure user experience designs are firmly rooted in usability standards, accessibility compliance, and industry best practices

n

nnProvide UX leadership in collaboration with business product owners and engineers to deliver compelling designs to market, satisfying our goals and enhancing our product set

n

nnProcure and use data, including testing methods and KPIs, to identify ways to improve the user experience

n

n nConduct your own user interviews and heuristic evaluations, design and moderate usability tests, and facilitate group activities such as persona workshops

nnnEffectively communicate and align with both highly technical teams and nontechnical business teams

n

nnWork with others in the UX Center of Excellence to develop and advocate for sound UX approaches across the organization

n

nnContribute to the evolution and maintenance of the product design system and UI kits

n

nnParticipate in efforts to adopt AI-driven activities and tools into our design process

n

nnMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations

n

n nPrimary Requirements:

nnn4+ years of experience designing or leading the design of user interfaces for web and mobile apps

n

nnFollow user-centered design principles with experience including:

n

nnDeveloping prototypes and participating in innovation exercises

n

nnKnowledge and expertise in visual design

n

nnFundamental research activities, such as conducting interviews, running usability tests, and facilitating persona workshops

n

nnEvolving and implementing UX / UI standards in large complex ecosystems

n

nnKnowledge and practical application of accessibility factors

n

nnProficiency with design tools, specifically Figma

n

nnExperience designing for mobile and / or responsive web

n

n nDesired Skills:

nnn7+ years of experience designing and leading the design of user interfaces for web / mobile app, following user-centered design principles

n

nnFamiliarity with CSS and HTML

n

nnWorking knowledge of Material Design and the Angular Material front-end framework

n

nnKnowledge and experience working in Agile/Scrum framework

n

nnKnowledge of Agriculture industry

n

nnStrong written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to collaborate and drive change across all levels of an organization

n
