SeniorUX/ProductDesignConsultant—Project-Based
ProjectOverview
CISolutionsisseekinganexperiencedSeniorUX/ProductDesignConsultanttoevaluateandimprovethe usability ofanexistingsoftwareproduct.
Thegoalofthisengagementisnotsimplyavisualredesign.Wearelookingforsomeonewhocanunderstand howcustomersusetheproducttoday,identifyusabilityproblemsandunnecessarycomplexity,andredesignkeyworkflowssotheapplicationiseasiertolearn,navigate,andoperate.
Theconsultantwillworkwithproduct,development,support,andotherinternalstakeholdersand,where
appropriate,observeorinterviewactualusers.
ScopeofWork
Theconsultantwill:
Reviewtheexistingapplication,workflows,navigation,terminology,andinterface
Meetwithinternalstakeholderstounderstandcommoncustomerissues,supportchallenges, and businessrequirements
Conductuserinterviewsand/orusabilitysessionswithrepresentativeusers
Identifyusabilityproblems,confusingworkflows,unnecessarysteps,andopportunitiesfor simplification
Prioritizefindingsbasedonuserimpactandimplementationeffort
Developimprovedinformationarchitectureanduserflows
Createwireframesandinteractiveprototypesforpriorityworkflows
Developamodern,consistentUX/UIdirectionthatcanbeextendedthroughouttheproduct
Validateproposeddesignsthroughusabilitytestingandstakeholderreview
Workwiththedevelopmentteamtoensurerecommendationsarepracticaltoimplement
RequiredDeliverable

Wearelookingforsomeonewith:
7+yearsofUX,productdesign,orequivalentexperience
ExperienceredesigningestablishedB2B,SaaS,enterprise,oroperationalsoftware
StrongUXresearchandusability-testingskills
Experiencesimplifyingcomplexworkflowsratherthanonlyimprovingvisualappearance
Stronginteractionandinformation-architectureskills
ProficiencywithFigmaorcomparabledesign/prototypingtools
Experiencecreatingscalabledesignsystems
Abilitytocommunicatedirectlywithusers,developers,productstakeholders,andexecutives
Aportfoliodemonstratingmeasurableusabilityimprovementstoexistingproducts
Experiencewithadministrativesoftware,identity/badgesystems,printingworkflows,education technologyorotherworkflow-heavyapplicationsisaplus.
