Job description
Accruent is looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end design across multiple B2B software products. You will research complex customer workflows, define product experiences, create and test solutions, and partner with Product and Engineering through implementation.
nThis is a high-autonomy role for a systems thinker with strong design judgment, research experience, and interest in emerging AI-assisted and code-native design workflows.
nWhat You'll Do
nnnOwn UX work from discovery through post-launch iteration.
n
nnPlan and conduct user research.
n
nnTurn research and product data into clear findings and recommendations.
n
nnDesign user flows, information architecture, interactions, and responsive interfaces.
n
nnCreate and test AI-assisted and code-native prototypes.
n
nnWork within and contribute to Accruent's design system and evolving UI pipeline.
n
nnApply accessibility standards throughout the design process.
n
nnEvaluate AI-generated UI for usability, quality, responsiveness, and design-system alignment.
n
nnPartner with Product and Engineering to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
n
nnPresent design decisions and facilitate productive critiques.
n
nnReview implemented work and collaborate with Engineering and QA to address gaps.
n
nnManage work across multiple products and priorities.
n
n nWhat We're Looking For
nnnA portfolio demonstrating research-informed design and strong design judgment.
n
nnExperience independently planning, conducting, and synthesizing UX research.
n
nnStrong interaction-design, information-architecture, and systems-thinking skills.
n
nnExperience designing complex B2B software workflows.
n
nnExperience designing responsive and accessible interfaces.
n
nnExperience working within and contributing to a design system.
n
nnExperience creating and testing prototypes.
n
nnFamiliarity with AI-assisted or code-native prototyping.
n
nnBasic literacy with repositories and version-control concepts.
n
nnStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
n
nnHigh autonomy, curiosity, empathy, humility, and attention to detail.
n
nnAbility to build product, business, and domain expertise.
n
n nBonus Qualifications
nnnFrontend coding experience.
n
nnExperience with AI-enabled UI pipelines, coded component libraries, design tokens, and/or Storybook.
n
nnExperience evaluating AI-generated interfaces.
n
nnExperience modernizing legacy software.
n
nnExperience in telecommunications, grocery retail, asset management, facilities, or real estate.
n
nnB2B SaaS experience.
