The Role
A technical, hands-on role where you will:
Own the vehicle-level technical baseline, requirements flowdown, and system closure for your assigned space mission.
Manage and balance critical vehicle budgets including mass, power, thermal, link, pointing, propellant, and data.
Write and close technical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across subsystems, customer payloads, and launch providers.
Lead environmental test planning and execution including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and EMI/EMC campaigns.
Direct mission-level trade studies, concept of operations (ConOps), and cross-disciplinary root cause analyses.
Establish vehicle requalification and reflight criteria post-landing to feed back into platform standard baselines.
The Essential Requirements
US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain ITAR compliance and TS/SCI clearance.
7+ years of spacecraft engineering experience with proven full-lifecycle delivery from design to launch.
Hands-on hardware or flight software deployment experience across core spacecraft disciplines.
Track record writing/closing payload or launch provider ICDs and running environmental test campaigns.
Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Denver, CO.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Prior experience with atmospheric re-entry, heat shields, or multi-life reusable space hardware.
Direct SpaceX Transporter rideshare integration experience and familiarity with NASA GEVS or SMC-S-016 standards.
Active TS/SCI security clearance and prior defense payload integration experience.
