Leadtheestimatingandbidpreparationprocessforcommercialwaterproofingprojectsofvaryingsizeandcomplexity
Performdetailedquantitytakeoffsandcomprehensivecostanalysesfromplans,specifications,andbiddocuments
Developaccurate,competitive,andprofitableestimatesthatalignwithcompanyobjectives
Identifyprojectrisks,opportunities,andvalueengineeringsolutionsduringthepreconstructionphase
Buildandmaintainrelationshipswithgeneralcontractors,owners,architects,consultants,subcontractors,andsuppliers
Solicit,evaluate,andnegotiatesubcontractorandvendorpricing
Participateinprojecthandoffmeetingsandsupportoperationalteamsduringprojectstartup
Trackmarketconditions,labortrends,andmaterialpricingtoensureestimatingaccuracy
Mentorandsupportjuniorestimatorswhilehelpingestablishbestpracticesacrosstheestimatingdepartment
Collaboratewithexecutiveleadershiptodevelopbidstrategiesandpursuekeybusinessopportunities
Qualifications
7+yearsofwaterproofingestimatingexperience inthecommercialconstructionindustry
Provensuccessestimatinglarge-scalewaterproofing,below-gradewaterproofing,trafficcoating,deckcoating,airbarrier,sealant,andbuildingenvelopeprojects
Strongunderstandingofconstructiondrawings,specifications,contracts,andprojectdeliverymethods
Advancedknowledgeofestimatingsoftware,takeoffplatforms,andMicrosoftOfficeSuite
Demonstratedabilitytomanagemultiplebidsanddeadlinessimultaneously
Exceptionalnegotiation,communication,andorganizationalskills
Strongfinancialacumenandunderstandingofjobcostingprinciples
Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingtoacollaborativeteamenvironment
Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Engineering,orrelatedfieldpreferred,butequivalentindustryexperiencewillbeconsidered
