Job description
A well-established wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Advisor to take ownership of an existing portfolio of client relationships.
This is a planning-focused, relationship-driven advisory position rather than a traditional sales or AUM-gathering role. The advisor will focus on developing deep client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial planning, providing investment guidance, and ensuring an exceptional long-term client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for an established portfolio of wealth management clients.
Develop long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and personalized financial guidance.
Lead comprehensive financial planning and ongoing client review meetings.
Develop and deliver financial plans based on each client's goals, financial circumstances, and long-term objectives.
Provide investment guidance and portfolio oversight in coordination with the firm's investment strategy.
Identify planning opportunities involving retirement, tax strategies, estate considerations, cash flow, and other wealth management needs.
Work closely with Service Advisors and other support professionals to ensure a high-touch client experience.
Lead and mentor advisory support team members.
Utilize financial planning technology, including eMoney and Holistiplan, to support client planning.
Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and generate referrals.
Develop new relationships when opportunities arise, although business development is not the primary focus of the position.
Qualifications
Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) required.
5+ years of client-facing financial advisory or wealth management experience.
Strong background in comprehensive financial planning.
Experience advising affluent and high-net-worth clients.
Strong knowledge of investment management and portfolio oversight.
Ability to independently manage and develop client relationships.
Experience with financial planning technology; eMoney and/or Holistiplan preferred.
Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Experience mentoring or working closely with advisory support professionals.
Client-first, planning-oriented approach to wealth management.
